WAIKAREAO ESTUARY WALKWAY
Located in central Tauranga, Waikareao Estuary, also known as Daisy Hardwick Loop, is a popular walking and cycling track. This 8.2 kilometre loop track offers a leisurely two-hour journey by foot, allowing you to immerse yourself in the serene beauty of the tidal wetland. The loop walk consists completely of boardwalks, bridges, gravel and sealed footpath. Bring your furry friends along, as dogs are warmly welcomed. Convenient car parking is available at Maxwells Road, Coach Drive, and the Waihi Road entrance to Takitimu Drive.
You'll be delighted to know that charming cafes and bakeries are not far away from the Estuary. In just a few minutes, you can treat yourself to a delightful coffee and pastry at Breadhead.
