Hotel on Devonport: Right in the middle of Tauranga’s CBD, the Hotel on Devonport is wheelchair friendly throughout including the main foyer, car park and there are three specific rooms that are accessible for guests.
Trinity Wharf: the gorgeous Trinity Wharf Hotel is just a few minutes from Tauranga’s CBD. Set over the Tauranga Harbour for stunning waterfront views. Trinity Wharf has six rooms that are wheelchair accessible, as well as disabled parking and lift access to all accommodation floors. Both the hotel’s restaurant and function rooms are wheelchair accessible.
CitySide Tauranga: Tauranga's brand new boutique hotel located at the edge of the CBD, only a stroll away from cafes and restaurants. CitySide Tauranga offers two accessible rooms which have custom-made fixtures and fittings which meet the latest accessibility standards.
Papamoa
Tasman Holiday Parks - Pāpāmoa Beach: so close to the beach you can hear the waves crashing! This iconic resort has wheelchair accessible beachfront villas available.
Whakatāne
Aquarius Motel: friendly motel accommodation at gorgeous Ōhope Beach, just 15 minutes' drive from Whakatāne. Aquarius Motel has an accessible room with a great bathroom. Special off season rates are also available.
Pacific Coast Motor Lodge: Four-star accommodation in a great location, the Pacific Coast Motor Lodge has two easy access standard studios available. Both studios have large bathrooms with easy access showers and railings. There is a shower chair available on request.
The Landing Motel: centrally situated in gorgeous Whakatāne, the Landing Motel has easy access studios that have been designed to meet the needs of those who require additional support. The room is accessible up a gentle ramp, with designated parking right outside your door.
Awa Motel: the lovely Awa Motel is the perfect place to base yourself while staying in Whakatāne. There are two wheelchair accessible rooms available.
Mount Maunganui
Quest Mt Maunganui: With 3-accessible studio apartments the hotel is wheelchair friendly throughout the property including dedicated carparks, ramp, lobby, and wider corridors. 2 of the 3 apartments are interconnecting which enables caregivers or family to travel and have their own space in a 1-bedroom apartment.
