At Mount Maunganui Surf Academy we teach surfing and surfing only. This means we can concentrate on teaching to the best level possible and guarantee you will find the whole experience a life changing event! Our coaches are specialist Surf Coaches and qualified to the highest level. We use soft top boards which are very forgiving and provide much of the performance of a traditional fibreglass board. As you improve we have a selection of mini-mals from 7 to 8 foot. We also have 9ft long boards for you to try. We provide high quality, full length summer and winter wetsuits.
Mount Maunganui Surf Academy can be found at the corner of Marine Parade and Banks Avenue in Downtown Mount Maunganui. The Academy is open from November to March, daily. Lessons can be booked outside of this period by prior arrangement, by telephone or completing the on-line form.
