The Incubator Creative Hub
We are a community of artists that includes Resident Artists, four galleries, with exhibitions changing every 3 weeks, and includes potters, painters and craft artists.
The Incubator is a community of artists, includes a very colourful road called The Tauranga Runway, where local artists were commissioned to come up with a design, so that the visitor is walking on art. To 36 in house Resident Artists, all doing their craft onsite. This includes Okorore Ngā Toi Māori housed in a colonial house from the late 1800's, the Pot House with two resident potters, and a space for visiting potters. There are three public galleries, the People's gallery, gallery housed in a historic building, with largely student exhibitions from the local schools and the Artists window gallery a community based gallery, and The Incubator a solo exhibition space for our local artists. All thriving at The Village in 17th Ave.
