On this tour you will see Mount Maunganui surf beach, voted NZ’s best, pass through kiwifruit orchards, the lakes district, beautiful farmland, native bush and pine forest plantations. An experience like no other, walk high amongst giant 120 year-old Redwood trees and wonder at the natural beauty of our forest. A peaceful haven for you to discover above the forest floor, surrounded by gentle giants, sweeping silver ferns & native flora. At Te Puia we are greeted with a traditional Māori welcome, the fearsome haka dance followed by traditional dances. See erupting geysers, boiling mud & steaming hot mineral pools, the elusive nocturnal Kiwi bird, wood carving, and flax weaving. An awesome two hour tour of this surreal volcanic wonderland.
