Mount Maunganui’s Bunker Boutique Indoor Golf has two golf simulator rooms available for hire, giving you access to prestigious international golf courses such as Pebble Beach, St Andrews and Bay Hill. Their simulator technology will calculate your shot trajectory and distance, as well as provide information on your spin axis and club head speed. This location has a stylish fitout with relaxed sofas and plenty of space to hang out and entertain between shots, it’s perfect for groups looking to have a good time in comfort.
Fore Seasons at Tauriko will help you improve your game or enjoy a fun golf experience with your mates. Range Bays are suitable for a maximum of two players, while Premium Bays cater for up to four players. There are ten bays in total making it a great place for large groups or events. Bring your own clubs, or hire them on site. There's also a bar so you can enjoy a drink while you play, and you can order fresh pizza from Orchard Thieves Pizza straight from the self-ordering kiosk. Members even get 24/7 access — perfect for a late-night session or an early morning tee-off.
Indoor golf simulators are also available at Golf 360 throughout the week to help improve your game, in addition to their driving ranges. Here you can play world famous courses from all over the world. Additionally the bays feature cameras for coaching that you can playback and analyse your technique.
Mount Driving Range in the dunes is Mount Maunganui Golf Club’s new state-of-the-art facility. Each of the 15 hitting bays provides 50m of ball flight before hitting a net, with advanced tracking technology used by the likes of Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy then analysing the flight path, ball spin and other crucial data which is displayed on individual screens. The Green sits right alongside this driving range – a 6,000m² putting and chipping practice area which is believed to be the largest such facility in the country.
